THE WILD PARTY // THE FITZGERALD THEATRE

DIRECTOR + DESIGNER

In the mesmerizing production of "THE WILD PARTY," the design revolved around a 22-foot computer-driven turntable, offering audiences a constantly shifting and kaleidoscopic perspective of the stage. Framed under a giant Orwellian/Brechtian/Williams-esque "Vaudeville" sign, we skillfully employed shadow, silhouette, and screens to capture the graphic essence of Art Spiegelman's drawings from the published Joseph March poem. Enhancing the experience, a live band comprising nine top-tier musicians passionately played Andrew Lippa's sizzling score in the 1,000-seat former Vaudeville-circuit Fitzgerald Theater.
