The tag line for this project? DON’T JUST DREAM IT. EXPERIENCE IT. ROCKY HORROR LIVE revolved around an opulent, velvety-red 360º environment, filled with surprises. I wanted to immersive the audience in a Transylvanian “theme park” of VIP seats, opulent chandeliers, hidden trap doors, and an elevator stage lift straight from Dolly parton’s tour (yeah, we really got her personal lift!). This spectacular experience unfolded within the vast 8,000 square foot warehouse Lab Theater. This extended to crafting 3 sides of risers around a runway stage, employing liquid nitrogen fog, and featured a fully operational motorcycle and mini pink convertible Cadillac for Brad and Janet. Overhead, we meticulously installed a magnificent 6-foot mirror ball and a huge moving light package above the cat-walk stage for Frank’s runway fashion show.
