When MN Jewish Theatre Co. Artistic Director Barbara Brooks first approached me, I was intrigued, to say the least. Little did I know, it would turn out to be one of the smartest, funniest, and most clever musicals I've ever had the pleasure of working on. Penned by the talented duo David Hein and Irene Sankoff, the creative minds behind the genius 'Come From Away,' this musical took a beautiful subject matter and wrapped it in a hilarious and heartwarming package. It gave me the creative freedom to craft whimsical fantasy sequences and unleash a whirlwind of wild abandon in a Canadian wonderland. The experience was nothing short of magical, and we were fortunate enough to bring our production to life not once, but twice in the vibrant heart of the Twin Cities.
