ANDREW RASMUSSEN (SDC) is a New York-based creative director and dramaturg.

Original productions include: Andrew Lippa’s THE WILD PARTY at The Fitzgerald Theater; RENT, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW LIVE!, WHEN A MAN LOVES A DIVA staged in the 6,000 square foot warehouse Lab Theater; Off-Broadway: MRS. SMITH LIVE! / MRS. SMITH'S BROADWAY CAT-TACULAR! (Co-writer & Director) at the 47th Street Theater, American Repertory Theater, Actors Theater of Minnesota, and The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC.

Current productions include: CHARLOTTE’S WEB, touring the US with Theatreworks USA. Co-author and director of MRS. SMITH & CARLYLE TO MARS AND BACK AGAIN!, a new space rock musical, originally developed at Berkeley Rep. JACQUES BREL, Miniaci Center; SHE LOVES ME, and the NYC Fringe Festival’s production of TRADITION! with Infinity Theatre Company. Concerts include: 54 BELOW: Ewalt & Walker’s PAJAMBOREE!, Jamecia Bennett and The Sounds of Blackness; Comedian Lenny Windsor; SEMPREVERDE at Queens Theater in the Park. He has been a creative artist for Broadway Asia, Music Theatre International, Ordway Center and Artistic Director for Norwegian Cruise Line where he oversaw and directed several productions from Barcelona to Egypt. 

As Associate/Resident Director: RUBEN & CLAY'S CHRISTMAS (Broadway), JOSEPH/DREAMCOAT (Tokyo Premiere), SIDDHARTHA THE MUSICAL (Milan/Edinburgh/Paris), CHINA GOES POP (International tour) for Broadway Asia, ANNIE and THE HONEYMOONERS at Paper Mill Playhouse, and many productions for Norwegian Cruise Line, including SMOKEY JOES, SHOUT!, SHOWDOWN, TONY 'N TINA, and THE WORLD GOES ‘ROUND.
